I had "interview #3" with Costco this afternoon. 'Twas only technically the third interview, as my first interview was also my second (something technical regarding the questions asked.) I spoke with one of the managers, a man from Minnesota named John. He definitely still had pieces of his accent intact, which amused me. I haven't heard that accent in a while, so it was comforting to hear again. Anyway, he asked a couple of corporate questions followed by a few of his own. We chatted a bit beyond that about the work ethic of people whom we've worked with previously. After that, I was sent to see Sharon again (she interviewed me the first go-around.) At this point I received a fancy swab thing for a drug test (yes, I passed with flying colours.) So.... I start training and proper WORK next Wednesday for Costco!! :D I won't be doing the real shit work that I dreaded (Food Court), but rather assisting customers (or "clients" as they are termed), cashiers and I'll also be doing the small bottom-feeder things like pulling carts. I am super SUPER excited for this!!!!! Thanks to everyone for their support in getting me through the rougher times that now appear to have passed. :D Peace! Tags: job!
